This story about my colleague; Kak Normah at my dept. In my previous entry I mentioned that I went round the company building to collect some contribution money for my driver colleague; Selvam whose father passed away the night before. Ok this Selvam ever used the money that the outlets we supply the magazines paid us to settle his financial problems. So when I went round collecting the contribution money, I make it a point to who ever contribute that there's no obligations. It means that it up to individual whether they wanna give or not and how much they should contribute. So when I pass the envelope and paper to Kak Normah, she said hopefully Selvam neva use this money for his own expenses. To me, how could she said like that. Ya, everyone ever make mistakes but ini kan kira sedekah, kita mesti ikhlas. Ini hari Selvam yg susah, esok lusa mana tau kita punya turn pulak kan. Kalau tak ikhlas, den jgn kasi lah kan and dnt make such comments. Watever he wanna do with the contribution money it's up to him and his family wat. Thats why for almost 8 yrs I work in the dept, me and my previous colleagues kind of "pulau" her due to her attitude. When I told 1 of my driver colleagues regarding this, he was shock. He said we collect money bukannya suka2, ini kan utk cover some expenses for the funeral. Mana kita tau org punya susah. Like I said, kalau tak ikhlas, jgn kasi sumbangan and juz keep ur mouth shut. Habis cerita....
