Yesterday b4 goin home, i approached my boss regarding his offer and ask him if i accept his offer, how much will the company increase the pay? The moment i heard his reply, my heart juz breaks into pieces. ok so this is our conversation:
Me: "Mr Ng, regarding ur offer abt the executive post, how much is the increment u will implement?"
Mr Ng: "wat increment?there will be NO increment. Only ur post change to executive cos u will still be doing the same jobscopes only that u take full responsibilities of watever happen in the office."
Feeling dishearted, i juz said "ok" den walked off. I dnt tink it's fair to me as my previous colleague from the other department got promoted and pay rise when she "threatened" to tender and yet still doing the same jobscopes. When i smsed my previous colleague from the same dept, she was shocked to the max. She said that my boss really took advantage of my capabilities and tot that i might not leave the company. Consult my hb and my 2nd elder bro regarding this and both said it's not worth staying if the company is treating me this way. With my 7yrs plus experience, they said other companies might recognise my contributions. No wonder all my colleagues who got promoted to executives left the dept maybe due to this.
So for now, I'll do watever I'm doing rite now and when better opportunity comes, I'll leave. Kata pepatah..rezeki bole dicari dimana-mana...InsyaAllah...
