Yesterday, purposely took 1/2 day off to spend time with hb and little gendut. Had to lie to my boss actually that my aunt is sick. Had to do that cos the new gal (who is still under 3 months probation) took an urgent leave. It's been a stressful month for me and I really need a break badly. Since hb is on his off day and Khairi isnt goint to school so I decided to "join" them too. After hb fetch me, we went to my PIL's place to chill cos it's been a while I've been there eversince the commotion between me and PIL (that is in Aug this year). Den at 4pm, we proceed to my mom's place as my bros and I are taking my mom to dinner at Newton hawker centre. This month, my eldest bro had brought my mom to have dinner at Simpang Bedok, Adam Road and as far as Telok Blangah hawker centre to eat. Almaklumlah, org tu baru beli kereta baru so ajaklah my mom gi jalan2. Since hb was on morning shift, my family wasnt able to join them then. Since hb is off today and the rest of the family is able to join in (except my 3rd bro, who is working), we decided to bring my mom to Newton hawker centre.
I always love to spend time with my whole family as we love to have dinner together, laughing, joking and make fun of each other. When we go out for dinner, it doesnt mean we have to go to an expensive restaurant to have a nice dinner. We can just have it at the fast food restaurant or even hawker centres. Wat's more important to have a family bonding. Unlike my hb's family case. My FIL always want to eat in a restaurant and always the SAME restaurant. Boring seh.. Sesekali tu tukar seleralah kat tempat lain eh? Anak2 dia pulak tak nak "membantah" or suggest tempat lain. Den bila makan, semua senyap jer, mcm berkabung gitu. Bole stress tau. Bila I tau nak gi makan ngan my ILS, being the "hantu" menantu, I will always make excuses not to attend. Hahahahaha..jahat kan aku ni. Den bila slalu gi rumah PIL's, 1 duduk dlm bilik, 1 kat dapur and my BIL and wifey buat hal sendiri. This happen even before I got married to hb. Dulu hb pon jenis pendiam but after we got married and spent time with my family, he's more jovial then before.
Ok get back to my Newton's dinner. We ordered alot of food ranging from bbq lobster, Gong Gong, mamak's bone steak, sambal belacan kangkong, sambal lala, tomyam soup, fried cumi-cumi, ikan pari bakar and not forgetting seafood fried rice and plain rice. Org sebelah tgk meja kitaorg takut seh cos mcm 30 punya org makan padahal cuma 15 org including the twins.Hahahahaha. Even Khairi pon bole tahan jugak makan sampai bertambah nasi. Ada skali tu jalan Hari Raya, my mom cakap "Ayie bagus eh 1 hari tak mintak susu, tak mcm si kembar", den i told her if he eat heavy meal, he wont be asking for his milk but i stand-by jer his milk powder in the bag. My son ni kalau dia tak sakit, he can eat non-stop tapi kalau dia sakit, especially when he gets ulcers on his tonsil, he wont even drink his milk tau. After dinner, we decided to "rest" our full stomachs by relaxing by the beach at East Coast Park. Just imagine relaxing at the beach on mlm Jumaat..Lol..nasib baik tak nampak apa2 yg tidak perlu dinampak. By the time we left East Coast Park, it was already 11pm (mcm besok tak keje pulak). Den today pegi keje, perut masih kekenyangan after last nite's dinner. Overall, I'm a happy lady with a happy family
