Yesterday morning, as my morning routine I'll browse thru my "kakaks" blogs and I came across Kak Eimah's blog. Ternampak tu gambar kek/biskut batik. So bila Kak Eimah was at the bubclub, I pon asked her lah for the recepi. The ingredients all semua senang nak dapat cuma biskut marie jer I takde. So smalam before knock off from office, I kebas a few packets of biskut marie. Sorry boss..hehehehe.Alah biskut tu takde org makan kat ofis, daripada tong sampah makan lebih baik aku ambek buat kek batik..Hehehehe.
Smalam for iftar, my Fil, hb, Khairi and I berbuka kat Cafeela Restaurant kat Jalan Kayu. Hb's treat. We ordered butter prawn, sweet & sour sliced fish, chap chye and yeo char kuay. Fuhyoh sedap dok. Lepas berbuka, Fil went on his own way as he have to cari duit drive taxi while me and hb drive up to Yishun cos hb nak beli sponge filter for his fish tank. Reached home at 8.45pm. Lepas mandikan Khairi, I start my baking project. First I cut the marie biskut into 4 pieces then I weigh the milo and butter. While weighing the milo and butter, si Khairi "curi" my biskut. He then got the cheek to say "sedap mama".Hehehe... Then I melt the butter in a pot. When melted, I add in the sweetened milk bit by bit and keep stirring. When the mixture was about to boil, I put in the milo bit by bit and continue stirring till the mixture abit thicken. Off the fire and put in the biskuts quickly and mix the mixture well. Then I lay the mixture in the square loyang and spread the mixture. Let it cool for awhile before I press on the mixture to make it "mampat". After I pressed on the mixture to make it "mampat", I put the loyang into the fridge.
This morning, I took out the kek/biskut batik from the fridge to bring some to work to let my colleagues to taste it. When I look at the kek, very the tempting seh. Cubaan bulan puasa. Takpe balik nanti bole try. So if any of u want the recepi, can ask from Kak Eimah. Happy trying.
