Yesterday early in the morning, hb, Khairi, abg, kak Mas, Quraisyah and I went to Geylang Serai market to do our marketing. After that we went to TKC cos I want to buy my baking materials to bake strawberry marble cake for Khairi's Children's Day celebration at his school. After sending abg and his family home, we took the kids (Syasya,Faris,Quraisyah and Khairi) to the Animal Resort at Seletar. We got to know the place when we watch it on the tv, forgotten wat's the show's name. Well the place was not as fun as wat we expected. There's not much animals over there and the place stinks like hell. Even Khairi cant stand the smell. Then we sent the kids home and proceed back to our own house. Khairi took his afternoon nap, Papa getting ready to go for his afternoon shift and me, doing my cooking for Khairi's lunch. Just cook some fishball soup for him. When Khairi's sleeping, I went to do my household chores. After that I took a rest and then fall asleep. Sedar2 dah kul 7 mlm seh. Kelam-kabut I dibuatnya cos nak berbuka puasa. Si gendut ni pon tdo dari kul 2 sampai kul 7, tak bangun2. I ate the fishball soup with him. Then at 8pm, I went to the grocery shop downstairs to buys some snacks for Khairi to bring to school 2morrow. Then at 9pm, I start doing my baking. I baked 2 strawberry marble cakes for him. When hb came back at 1.30 am, I was still waiting for the last cake to be bake in the oven. Khairi had already fallen asleep at 11pm. By 2 am when the cake was ready, I put it one side to let it cool down and went to bed.
This morning, Khairi and I took cab to his school as I got alot of things to bring for his Children's Day party. Reached there at 7.30 am and his form teacher; Mdm Jamilah was already there arranging the food that was brought in by the other parents. Then I let Khairi join his frens before leaving for work. Bila kat ofis, teringat masa time skolah dulu celebrate Children's Day. Good memories during those days cos dapat bnyk presents from different subject teachers. Hari ni Khairi dapat apa eh? Eh aku pulak yg excited?! Hehehe...This is Khairi's 1st time celebrating Children's Day and I'll bet he's enjoying himself right now. As usual, I pick Khairi up at 6.30pm and today we're going to iftar at MIL's place cos the 2 kids (hb's niece and nephew) are there today cos they dnt have to go to school due to Children's Day. Then 1 of the teacher; Ms Siti pass to me Khairi's bag and 1 small paperbag full of his presents from the teachers.Bnyk jugak Khairi dapat presents. Wait for my FIL to fetch us in his taxi and then we proceed to Bishan. Khairi den show his cuzzins wat he got from his teachers. After iftar, FIL sent us home. Khairi's Children's Day presents
