Yesterday morning, as my morning routine I'll browse thru my "kakaks" blogs and I came across Kak Eimah's blog. Ternampak tu gambar kek/biskut batik. So bila Kak Eimah was at the bubclub, I pon asked her lah for the recepi. The ingredients all semua senang nak dapat cuma biskut marie jer I takde. So smalam before knock off from office, I kebas a few packets of biskut marie. Sorry boss..hehehehe.Alah biskut tu takde org makan kat ofis, daripada tong sampah makan lebih baik aku ambek buat kek batik..Hehehehe.
Smalam for iftar, my Fil, hb, Khairi and I berbuka kat Cafeela Restaurant kat Jalan Kayu. Hb's treat. We ordered butter prawn, sweet & sour sliced fish, chap chye and yeo char kuay. Fuhyoh sedap dok. Lepas berbuka, Fil went on his own way as he have to cari duit drive taxi while me and hb drive up to Yishun cos hb nak beli sponge filter for his fish tank. Reached home at 8.45pm. Lepas mandikan Khairi, I start my baking project. First I cut the marie biskut into 4 pieces then I weigh the milo and butter. While weighing the milo and butter, si Khairi "curi" my biskut. He then got the cheek to say "sedap mama".Hehehe... Then I melt the butter in a pot. When melted, I add in the sweetened milk bit by bit and keep stirring. When the mixture was about to boil, I put in the milo bit by bit and continue stirring till the mixture abit thicken. Off the fire and put in the biskuts quickly and mix the mixture well. Then I lay the mixture in the square loyang and spread the mixture. Let it cool for awhile before I press on the mixture to make it "mampat". After I pressed on the mixture to make it "mampat", I put the loyang into the fridge.
This morning, I took out the kek/biskut batik from the fridge to bring some to work to let my colleagues to taste it. When I look at the kek, very the tempting seh. Cubaan bulan puasa. Takpe balik nanti bole try. So if any of u want the recepi, can ask from Kak Eimah. Happy trying.

When I saw the oreo jelly at mamadewi's blog, I terus jatuh cinta cos nampak mcm sedap gitu. Apalagi I pon asked her for the recepi. Then yesterday during lunch time I sanggup kluar to buy the jelly mould and the jelly powder. Bersemangat betol nak buat malam nanti. After Iftar, I went to the grocery shop downstairs to buy the full cream milk and the double chocolate oreo biskut that was recommended by mamadewi as she says it taste much more nicer than the white cream oreo biskut. Bila semua barang2 dah ada, apalagi I start lah my project. Si Khairi ni pantang kalau mama dia memasak, mesti nak mengepo. Kalau tgk diam takpe, mesti ada dia punya the 4 "W" qns. "Wat's that mama?" "Why put that,mama?" "Where buy mama?" > referring to the oreo biskut "When cook mama?" Yup, dia dah start asking me with the 4 "W". Pening kepala I menjawab soalan2 dia tu..Haiz..
Ok back to my project. I followed the instructions from the recepi. Bila dah masukkan semua bahan2 kat my pot tu, sungguh menyelerakan you know. Then I filled the jelly mould 1/2 filled, let it cool for awhile before putting the crushed oreo biskut on top and then filled it full and let it cool again before putting it in the fridge. Si Khairi sampai tak tahan and asked for 1. He gives me a thumbs up. Sedaplah tu. Bila my turn to rasa, fuhyoh tak terkata I dibuatnya. Sedap dok, gua tak bedek. Lemak2 manis, I like...HeheheSo kakak2 yg lain...apa lagi? Gi lah cuba...Hehehehe

Yesterday early in the morning, hb, Khairi, abg, kak Mas, Quraisyah and I went to Geylang Serai market to do our marketing. After that we went to TKC cos I want to buy my baking materials to bake strawberry marble cake for Khairi's Children's Day celebration at his school. After sending abg and his family home, we took the kids (Syasya,Faris,Quraisyah and Khairi) to the Animal Resort at Seletar. We got to know the place when we watch it on the tv, forgotten wat's the show's name. Well the place was not as fun as wat we expected. There's not much animals over there and the place stinks like hell. Even Khairi cant stand the smell. Then we sent the kids home and proceed back to our own house. Khairi took his afternoon nap, Papa getting ready to go for his afternoon shift and me, doing my cooking for Khairi's lunch. Just cook some fishball soup for him. When Khairi's sleeping, I went to do my household chores. After that I took a rest and then fall asleep. Sedar2 dah kul 7 mlm seh. Kelam-kabut I dibuatnya cos nak berbuka puasa. Si gendut ni pon tdo dari kul 2 sampai kul 7, tak bangun2. I ate the fishball soup with him. Then at 8pm, I went to the grocery shop downstairs to buys some snacks for Khairi to bring to school 2morrow. Then at 9pm, I start doing my baking. I baked 2 strawberry marble cakes for him. When hb came back at 1.30 am, I was still waiting for the last cake to be bake in the oven. Khairi had already fallen asleep at 11pm. By 2 am when the cake was ready, I put it one side to let it cool down and went to bed.
This morning, Khairi and I took cab to his school as I got alot of things to bring for his Children's Day party. Reached there at 7.30 am and his form teacher; Mdm Jamilah was already there arranging the food that was brought in by the other parents. Then I let Khairi join his frens before leaving for work. Bila kat ofis, teringat masa time skolah dulu celebrate Children's Day. Good memories during those days cos dapat bnyk presents from different subject teachers. Hari ni Khairi dapat apa eh? Eh aku pulak yg excited?! Hehehe...This is Khairi's 1st time celebrating Children's Day and I'll bet he's enjoying himself right now. As usual, I pick Khairi up at 6.30pm and today we're going to iftar at MIL's place cos the 2 kids (hb's niece and nephew) are there today cos they dnt have to go to school due to Children's Day. Then 1 of the teacher; Ms Siti pass to me Khairi's bag and 1 small paperbag full of his presents from the teachers.Bnyk jugak Khairi dapat presents. Wait for my FIL to fetch us in his taxi and then we proceed to Bishan. Khairi den show his cuzzins wat he got from his teachers. After iftar, FIL sent us home.
